Configuring the SOL for the Remote Managed System Select option 2 in the main menu. NOTE: You must be connected to the managed system's BMC before you can configure the SOL features. If SOL Proxy is not yet connected to the managed system's BMC, you are prompted for an IP address, a username/password combination, and an IPMI encryption key. The IPMI encryption key value will be ignored if no key was set at the BMC on the target server. See "Connecting to the Remote Managed System's BMC" for more information. The SOL configuration menu appears. According to the current SOL status, the content of the SOL configuration menu varies: • If SOL is already enabled, the current settings are displayed and you are presented with three choices. configure the SOL features. If SOL Proxy is not yet connected to the managed
system’s BMC, you are prompted for an IP address, a username/password
