Default Subcommand If a subcommand is not specified, this command functions the same as sel info. Options for sensor • list - Displays the complete list of sensors and thresholds in a wide table format. • get ... [] - Displays information for sensors specified by ID number. • thresh - Allows you to set a particular sensor threshold value. The sensor is specified by name. Valid thresholds are: • unr - Upper Non-Recoverable • ucr - Upper Critical • unc - Upper Non-Critical • lnc - Lower Non-Critical • lcr - Lower Critical • lnr - Lower Non-Recoverable Default Subcommand If a subcommand is not specified, this command acts the same as sensor list. IPMItool Command for Dynamic Entry on the DNS Server When DRAC is Not Present To create a dynamic entry on the DNS server when DRAC is not present, use the following command: ipmitool raw 0x18 0x58 0xe4 0x15 NOTE: You must enter a 21-byte hexadecimal number (a 8-byte input for the PowerEdge 1435SC) for the DHCP name. If the DHCP name is less than 21 bytes (8 bytes for PowerEdge SC1435), pad the end with zeroes. 96 Using the BMC Management Utility
