The tests available from the Test Menu are part of the diagnostic and fault isolation capabilities. To make a successful Telnet connection to a switch, the following information is required: Switch name or IP address Username Password NOTES: You must assign an IP address to the switch through the front panel controls before you can access the remote management methods.
