Finishing tab (continued) Field Description Default Document Options group Print On Both Sides (Manually) This setting allows you to print a document on both Unselected sides of a page. Note: This option is sometimes called "manual duplexing." The printer will print the first side of each page, then wait for you to put the paper back into the printer, and then print the second side of the page. When this check box is selected, the following options become available: ! Flip Pages Up Pages can be flipped up like a notebook. Unselected Booklet Layout This option requires and automatically selects Off 2 Pages per Sheet and Print on Both Sides. From the drop-down list, you can select from the following options: Pages per Sheet ! Off ! Left Edge Binding ! Right Edge Binding This drop-down list specifies the number of pages per 1 sheet to be printed on one sheet of paper. The supported selections are: !1 !2 !4 !6 !9 ! 16 Note: This feature is also known as N-up printing. Print Page Borders This control becomes available if Pages per Sheet is Unselected set for more than 1. Selecting this check box prints a border around each page on the sheet. Page Order This control becomes available when Pages per Sheet is set for more than 1. Unselected This drop-down list allows you to select the order and placement of the pages on the sheet. The supported options are: ! Right, then Down ! Down, then Right ! Left, then Down ! Down, then Left Rotate Selecting the Rotate by 180 degrees check box enables the printer to rotate the document image on Note: This feature is the paper 180 degrees. unavailable if Print on Both Sides or Pages per Sheet is selected. If the return address on an envelope is smudged, try this setting and feed the envelope so that the return address area is fed first into the printer. Unselected 72 Chapter 5 - Configuration ENWW
