Changing shadows The Shadows control in the Exposure Adjustment tool lets you select the darkest printable value in the image. This allows you to bring out detail in areas that would otherwise become black. You may make dark parts of images: s lighter to bring out details s darker to minimize details The range for the number in the Shadows field is set in the Preference Controls tab (see page 53). Changing shadows
The
Shadows

To bring out details in the dark areas of the image,
decrease the number in the
Shadows
field:
