Windows 95 Users If the Windows Printing System was loaded during printer setup (see page 1-14), an icon of a printer will be placed on the computer screen's task bar. Click on the printer to access the following software utilities and helps: • Printer Status The Printer Status displays a pop-up message on the computer's screen each time the printer status changes. The Printer Status will report any problem, error condition, or other status message directly to the computer screen when the printer is connected directly to a computer through one of the parallel ports. • HP LaserJet Utility The HP LaserJet Utility provides access to printer settings.
