HP System/E and System/U Rack Features The HP Netserver LP 2000r rack mount kit requires two EIA units of space in the rack. Before mounting the Netserver, plan the Netserver's location in the rack relative to other rack components. Proper placement is vital both for safety and operating efficiency. For more information, see "Rack Configuration Tools" later in this chapter. Tools Required The rack-mounting kit provides tool-less assembly. The following items are used to mark the rack columns prior to mounting the slide mechanism in the rack. • Marking pen or masking tape 62
