Printing Selecting Odd will cause an eighth bit to be added with a value of 1 if the previous 7 bits add up to an even number, and 0 if the previous 7 bits add up to an odd number. Selecting Even will cause an eighth bit to be added with a value of 1 if the previous 7 bits add up to an odd number, and 0 if the previous 7 bits add up to an even number.
