7 Transportation, storage and disposal 7.1 Transportation The supplied Li-ion batteries obey the Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements. • Obey all applicable national regulations. • Obey the special requirement on package and labels for commercial transportations, including by third parties and forwarding agents. 7.2 Storage • Fully charge the product. Refer to To charge the battery on page 32. • Switch off the product. Refer to To set the product to OFF on page 32. • Clean the product. Refer to Clean the product on page 33. • Keep the product in a dry, frost free space. • Keep the product with all wheels on level ground during storage, or use a wall hanger. • If you keep the charging station indoors, disconnect and remove the power supply and all the connectors from the charging station. Put the end of each connector wire in a connector protection box. Note: If you keep the charging station outdoors, do not disconnect the power supply and the connectors. • Contact Husqvarna sales representative about what accessories are available for your product. 7.3 Disposal • Obey the local recycling requirements and applicable regulations. • For questions about how to remove the battery, refer to To remove the battery on page 47. 7.3.1 To remove the battery CAUTION: Only remove the battery when you dispose the product. When you remove the warranty seal, the Husqvarna warranty is no longer applicable. 3. Lift the rear edge of the top section of the chassis. 4. Disconnect the cable from the main circuit board. 5. Remove the top section of the chassis. 6. Remove the 2 screws that holds the battery with a Torx 20. 7. Push to detach the clips and lift up the battery holder. 1. Remove the top cover and the body of the product. Follow steps 1-7 in To clean the chassis and blade disc on page 33. 2. Remove the 12 screws with a Torx 20. 8. 7.1 Transportation

7.3.1 To remove the battery
CAUTION:
Only remove the battery

Remove the top cover and the body of the product.
Follow steps 1-7 in

2.
Remove the 12 screws with a Torx 20.
3.
Lift the rear edge of the top section of the chassis.
4.
Disconnect the cable from the main circuit board.
5.
Remove the top section of the chassis.
6.
Remove the 2 screws that holds the battery with a
Torx 20.
7.
Push to detach the clips and lift up the battery
holder.
8.
Disconnect the battery cable from the main circuit
board.
