4 RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT D RTTY Set mode The RTTY Set mode is used to set the mark and shift frequencies, keying type, decode USOS function, RTTY decoder new line code and the number of decode screen display lines. • Setting contents q In the RTTY mode, push [MENU] to display the "M1" screen (Menu 1). w P ush [RTTY](F-4) to display the "RTTY" screen. RTTY Set mode
The RTTY Set mode is used to set the mark and shift
frequencies, keying type, decode USOS function,
RTTY decoder new line code and the number of de-
code screen display lines.

In the RTTY mode, p

screen (Menu 1).

Push [RTTY](F-4) to display the “RTTY” screen.

Push [SET](F-5) to enter the RTTY Set mode.

RTTY Mark Freq
1.
(Default: 2125)
Select the RTTY mark frequency.
• 1275, 1615 and 2125 Hz are selectable.
RTTY Shift Width
2.
(Default: 170)
Select the RTTY frequency shift.
• 170, 200 and 425 Hz are selectable.
RTTY Keying Pol
3.
(Default: NORMAL)
Select normal or reverse keying polarity.
• NORMAL
: Key open/close = Mark/Space
• REVERSE : Key open/close = Space/Mark
Decode USOS
4.
(Default: ON)
Turn the USOS (UnShift On Space) function ON or
OFF. This function decodes a letter code after receiv-
ing a “space.”
• OFF : Decodes as a character code
• ON
: Decodes as a letter code
Decode New Line

(Default: CR,LF,CR+LF)
Select the internal RTTY decoder new line code.
CR: Carriage Return, LF: Line Feed
• CR,LF,CR+LF : Makes a new line with any code.
• CR+LF
: Makes a new line with only the
CR+LF code.
Decode Screen

Set the decoder screen display mode to 2 or 3 lines.
