WLAN SeTTING 11 D Setting the WLAN in the Access Point mode 1. Open the "Configuration" screen. 1 [MeNU] > Settings > WLAN > Advanced Settings > Configuration 2 2. Select "Access Point." 3 • "Access Point Settings" screen is displayed. L When "Requires reconfigure the CT-M500/phone. 4 Change setting and reset the CT-M500?" is displayed, Push OK . 3. Push [▲] or [▼], or rotate [CH/ENT] to select the set 5 items and then push [ENT], [CH/ENT], or [►]. Set items 6 SSID: enter the SSID. 7 L Up to 32 characters can be entered. Security: Select the authentication type. 8 Password: enter an authentication password of 8 to 63 characters. 9 L The entered password is masked like as "******." 10 Channel: Set to specify the channel by pushing [▲] or [▼]. 11 IP Address: enter the IP address of the transceiver. 12 Subnet Mask: enter the Subnet Mask (the range of the IP addresses used in the network). 13 enter the IP address and the Subnet Mask to be matched with the network 14 that the CT-M500 or the mobile device connects to. 15 TIP: 16 • Select to enter numbers and letters, and to enter symbols. 17 • Select number, character or space using [◄], and [►]. 18 • Push [eNT] or [CH/eNT] to enter the selected character. • Select "←" or "→" on the screen, or rotate [CH/eNT] to move the cursor. 4. After setting the items, push Save . • The "Advanced Settings" screen is displayed. L When the WLAN connection is successful, the " " icon is displayed at the top of the screen. 90
