8 AIS FUNCTION ■ AIS settings ID Blocking The transceiver blocks AIS transponders that are entered into the ID Blocking list. Enter your vessel's transponder ID or other vessel's transponder IDs if necessary to prevent the transceiver from detecting them as dangerous targets. L You can enter up to 10 MMSI codes. • Entering an ID 1. Open the "ID blocking" screen. [MENU] > Settings > AIS > ID Blocking • The blocked AIS transponder's ID is displayed. • "No ID" is displayed if there is no blocked AIS transponder. 2. Push Add to start the ID entry. 3. Enter an ID. TIP: • Select a number using [◄] and [►]. • Push [ENT] or [CH/ENT] to enter the selected number. • Select "←" or "→," or rotate [CH/ ENT] to move the cursor. 4. Select " Finish ," and then push [ENT] to enter the ID. • Editing an ID 1. Open the "ID Blocking" screen. [MENU] > Settings > AIS > ID Blocking 2. Push [▲] or [▼] to select an ID. 3. Push Edit . • See step 3 in "Entering an ID," as described above. 4. Push OK . • Deleting an ID 1. Open the "ID Blocking" screen. [MENU] > Settings > AIS > ID Blocking 2. Push [▲] or [▼] to select an ID. 3. Push Delete . • "Delete the ID. Are you sure?" is displayed. 4. Push OK . 61

AIS settings
ID Blocking
The transceiver blocks AIS transponders
that are entered into the ID Blocking list.
Enter your vessel’s transponder ID or other
vessel’s transponder IDs if necessary to
prevent the transceiver from detecting them
as dangerous targets.

You can enter up to 10 MMSI codes.
Entering an ID
1. Open the “ID blocking” screen.
[MENU] > Settings > AIS >
ID Blocking
The blocked AIS transponder’s ID is
displayed.
“No ID” is displayed if there is no
blocked AIS transponder.

Add
to start the ID entry.

Enter an ID.
TIP:
Select a number using [◄] and [►].
Push [ENT] or [CH/ENT] to enter
the selected number.
Select “←” or “→,” or rotate [CH/
ENT] to move the cursor.

Select “
Finish
,” and then push [ENT]
to enter the ID.
Editing an ID
