7 DIGITAL SELECTIVE CALLING (DSC) D Sending a Position Reply call Send a Position Reply call when a Position Request call is received. If the Auto ACK function is set to "Auto," the Acknowledgment is automatically sent to the 1 calling station. (p. 46) 2 1. After a Position Request is being received, push Alarm OFF to turn OFF the alarm. 3 • The received call's information is displayed. 4 5 6 2. Push the Software Key below the intended operation. Ignore : Ignores the call and returns to the 7 operating screen. • The call is saved in the DSC Log. 8 • " " blinks continuously until you display the call message. 9 Hold : Holds the RX call task, and returns to the Main screen. 10 Able : Sends Acknowledgment "Able to comply" (Able to right away. 11 comply) • The call is saved in the DSC Log. • Displays the Acknowledgment 12 information, and then returns to the operating screen by pushing STBY , and 13 Unable : then OK . Sends an Acknowledgment "Unable to 14 (Unable to Comply."
