Toner Container Replacement

Troubleshooting > Regular Maintenance Toner Container Replacement When toner is empty, the following message will be displayed. "Replace the toner. [C][M][Y][K]" When toner runs low, the following message will be displayed. Make sure you have a new toner container available for replacement. "Toner low [C][M][Y][K]" Frequency of Toner Container Replacement The life of the toner containers depends on the amount of toner required to accomplish your printing jobs. According to ISO/IEC 19798 and EcoPrint switched off the toner container can print as follows (A4/Letter paper is assumed): ECOSYS P5021cdn/ECOSYS P5021cdw There are two kinds of toner containers. Toner Color Black Cyan Magenta Yellow Life of the Toner Container (Printable pages) 1,200 images / 2,600 images 1,200 images / 2,200 images 1,200 images / 2,200 images 1,200 images / 2,200 images ECOSYS P5026cdn/ECOSYS P5026cdw Toner Color Black Cyan Magenta Yellow Life of the Toner Container (Printable pages) 4,000 images 3,000 images 3,000 images 3,000 images NOTE • The average number of images that can be printed with each of the toner containers provided with the machine is 1,200 images. • To maintain quality, we recommend using genuine Kyocera toner containers, which must pass numerous quality inspections. CAUTION Do not attempt to incinerate parts which contain toner. Dangerous sparks may cause burns. 8-3
