9: Device Ports Host Lists A host list is a prioritized list of SSH, Telnet, and TCP hosts available for establishing incoming modem connections or for the connect direct command on the CLI. The SLC unit cycles through the list until it successfully connects to one. To add a host list: 1. Click the Devices tab and select the Host Lists option. The following page displays: Figure 9-14 Devices > Host Lists 2. Enter the following: Note: To clear fields in the lower part of the page, click the Clear Host List button. Host List Id Host List Name Retry Count Authentication Displays after a host list is saved. Enter a name for the host list. Enter the number of times the SLC advanced console manager should attempt to retry connecting to the host list. Select to require authentication when the SLC unit connects to a host. 3.
