1 Fn Lock indicator The Fn Lock indicator shows the status of the Fn Lock function. For more information, see "Special keys" on page 31. 2 Speaker-mute indicator When the speaker-mute indicator is on, the speakers are muted. 3 Microphone-mute indicator When the microphone-mute indicator is on, the microphones are muted. 4 Camera-status indicator When the camera-status indicator is on, the camera is in use. 5 6 System-status indicators There are two ThinkPad logos on your computer, one on the palm rest and the other on the outer lid. The illuminated dot in each ThinkPad logo works as a system-status indicator and helps you identify the status of your computer. • Blink for three times: The computer is initially connected to power. • Blink fast: The computer is entering hibernation mode. • Blink slowly: The computer is in sleep mode. • Off: The computer is off or in hibernation mode. • On: The computer is on (in normal use).
