Game BoyTM CPU Manual 4.5. Commands 24. SGB Palette Selection There is actually only one color palette in the SNES but it is divided up into several sections for different SGB functions. These sections are referred to as Major (M) sections 0-7. Some SGB functions even divided some of these sections into sections. These sections are referred to as minor (m) sections. The large blocks below represent Major sections or palettes and smaller ones below them represent minor palettes.
