Searching for a Contact To search for a contact: 1. Press and touch Main ( Main ) > Voice Command. - or - Press and hold . 2. If you hear "Say a command," say "Lookup." 3. Say the name of the contact. For example, say "John Smith". The entry information for the specified contact is displayed. Opening Menus with ASR Note: If a name contains multiple numbers and you do not specify the number type (work, mobile, etc.), your phone chooses the mobile number by default. Open an application or access a menu by saying "Go To" followed by the name of the application or menu. To see a list of possible choices: 1. Press and touch Main ( Main ) > Voice Command. - or - Press and hold . 2. Say "Go To." A list of valid destinations is displayed and you are prompted with "Which shortcut?" Ⅲ If the list is too long to fit on one screen, you can say the name of a destination. Ⅲ Examples can include: Email, Messaging, Driving mode, Calculator, Notes, Calendar, Clock, or Settings. 3. Say the name of the application you want the phone to activate. Checking Phone Status Using ASR You can use ASR to obtain information about your phone such as Status, Time, Signal Strength, Network, Battery, and My Phone Number. 1.
