Activating Location Mode Before using any of the location-based services, you must turn on your device's location mode. 1. Press > Settings > Personal > Phone. 2. Touch the Services tab. 3. Scroll down the list, touch Location and tap the Change Setting button. 4. Select Location on. Ⅲ Location on allows the network to detect your position using GPS technology. This makes some Sprint applications and services easier to use. 5. Press to assign the new setting. Sprint Navigation Sprint Navigation gives you turn-by-turn directions onscreen and over speakerphone. Note Depending on your service plan, Sprint Navigation may require a monthly subscription. Activating Location Mode
