Restricting the Keyboard Backlight Time-Out By default, the keyboard backlight time-out is enabled. With this setting you can restrict the time of day that the keyboard backlight time-out will be enabled. For example, if you were planning a day at the beach (when you would not need the keyboard backlight), you could disable the backlight time-out during that period. 1. Press > Settings > System > Backlight. 2. Touch the Keyboard tab. 3. Touch the Turn off keyboard backlight in the daytime field to enable an additional power saving feature. Ⅲ Having the keyboard backlit during the day is a waste of energy. This new feature allows you to conserve even more battery power during that time of the day when there is sufficient light to clearly see the keyboard. 4. Use the drop-down fields to configure the from (start time) and to (end time) for this power save period. Ⅲ The backlight will be disabled only between the start and end time that you have set. 5. Press to assign the new setting. Changing the Brightness Adjust your screen's brightness to suit your surroundings. 1. Press > Settings > System > Backlight. 2. Touch the Brightness tab. 3. Touch along the slider to adjust the screen brightness. Ⅲ Selecting Auto Adjustment by Surrounding illuminance adjusts the brightness to match your current surrounding. 4. Restricting the Keyboard Backlight
Time-Out
By default, the keyboard backlight time-out is enabled.
With this setting you can restrict the time of day that the
keyboard backlight time-out will be enabled. For
