Menu When Shooting Still Images (Shooting/Settings/Common Settings) Shooting Items Exposure White Balance Burst Night Mode Size/Quality Options (: Default settings) +2.0EV to -2.0EV The exposure compensation value can be set from +2.0EV to -2.0EV in 13 steps. The default setting is 0.0EV. Auto The white balance is adjusted automatically. (Daylight) The setting is effective when shooting outdoors, shooting night scenes, neon signs, fireworks or sunrises, or shooting just before and after sundown. (Shade) The setting is effective when shooting under a cloudy sky. (Fluorescent) The setting is effective when shooting under fluorescent lighting. (Tungsten) The setting is effective when shooting under incandescent lamp. Off Still images are shot normally. On Each time you press the shutter button, the player records four still images in succession. Off Still images are shot normally. On The setting is selected when shooting night scenes. You can shoot beautiful still images of both subjects and night scene backgrounds at the same time. 1.3M Fine Still images are recorded at 1,280 960 size image with fine quality. 1.3M Standard Still images are recorded at 1,280 960 size image with standard quality. VGA Fine VGA Standard Still images are recorded at 640 480 size image with fine quality. Still images are recorded at 640 480 size image with standard quality. Note "Burst" and "Size/Quality" settings cannot be changed in the cover art image mode. The still image size is 200 200 pixels and image quality (compression) is "Fine." 42
