Other Operations Protecting your hearing (AVLS) The AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) function keeps down the maximum volume to protect your ears. ENTER/ ./> MENU 4 Press . or > (flip the lever towards > or .) repeatedly until "AVLS ON" flashes in the display, and then press ENTER (ENTER). When you try to turn the volume too high, "AVLS" flashes in the display. The volume is kept to a moderate level. To cancel AVLS Select "AVLS OFF" in step 4. EDIT ENTER >/. 1 Press MENU (EDIT for 2 seconds or more). 2 Press . or > (flip the lever towards > or .) repeatedly until "OPTION" flashes in the display, and then press ENTER (ENTER) again. 3 Press . or > (flip the lever towards > or .) repeatedly until "AVLS" flashes in the display, and then press ENTER (ENTER) again. Turning off the beep sound You can turn off the beep sound on both the recorder and the remote control. On the recorder, you can turn off the beep sound both of the recorder and the remote control.
