Chapter 11 System Configuration Commands System Configuration Commands can be used to configure the system information and system IP of the switch, and to reboot and reset the switch, upgrade the switch system and commands used for device diagnose, including loopback test and cable test. system-time manual Description The system-time manual command is used to configure the system time manually. Syntax system-time manual time Parameter time ii Set the date and time manually, in the format of MM/DD/YYYY- HH: MM: SS. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode Example Configure the system time as 02/14/2012- 12:30:00: TL-SG2424P(config)# system-time manual 02/14/2012-12:30:00 system-time ntp Description The system-time ntp command is used to configure the time zone and the IP Address for the NTP Server. The switch will get GMT automatically if it has connected to a NTP Server. Syntax system-time ntp { timezone } { ntp-server } { backup-ntp-server } { fetching-rate } Parameter timezone ii Your local time-zone, and it ranges from GMT-12 to GMT+13. The detailed information that each time-zone means are displayed as follow: GMT-12 ii TimeZone for Eniwetok,Kwajalein. 53
