Access Point Management SNMP SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is only useful if you have a SNMP program on your PC. To reach this screen, select SNMP in the Management section of the menu. Access Rights Select the desired option: • Read-only - Data can be read, but not changed. • Read/Write - Data can be read, and setting changed. Managers Any Station The IP address of the manager station is not checked. Only this station The IP address is checked, and must match the address you enter in the IP address field provided. If selected, you must enter the IP address of the required station. Traps Disable Traps are not used. Broadcast Select this to have Traps broadcast on your network. This makes them available to any PC. Send to Select this to have Trap messages sent to the specified PC only. If selected, you must enter the IP Address of the desired PC. Trap version Select the desired option, as supported by your SNMP Management program. 77
