191 Getting to Know the Windows ® XP Media Center Edition Watching Television Programs ❖ Pause, stop, rewind, and fast forward live TV, similar to the way you would control a DVD from a DVD player. ❖ Record a single TV show or an entire series. MY TV will manage the recordings for you and give advanced warning if there are any recording conflicts. ❖ Create a recorded TV library. ❖ Search for TV shows to watch or record using the Television Program Guide. ❖ Quickly check which TV shows you have scheduled to record. ❖ Search for TV shows by title, keyword, or category. NOTE If your computer enters Standby mode while you are viewing television, and you resume the computer, the live TV screen is blank. Press the OK button to return to live TV.
