94 Learning the Basics Using a compact disc drive Using a compact disc drive Your Tecra® 9100 Series computer may have a CD-ROM, CDRW, DVD-ROM, or DVD-ROM/CD-RW multi-function drive. If a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive is not currently installed in the Slim SelectBay, follow the instructions in "Using Slim SelectBay® modules" on page 67. HINT: Your DVD-ROM drive is set to play Region 1 (North America) DVD-ROMs. Drive in-use indicator light Eject button Manual eject hole A Sample DVD-ROM drive Drive in-use indicator light-Indicates when the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive is in use. Eject button-Press to release the disc tray when the system is powered on. CAUTION: Do not press the eject button or turn off the computer while the Drive in-use indicator light is glowing. Doing so could damage the disc or the drive. When the disc tray is open, be careful not to touch the lens or the area around it. Doing so could cause the drive to malfunction.
