SUB (+/-) / CH LEVEL Adjusting volume for each channel Adjust the volume of playback for each channel (audio in each direction) so that sounds are evenly distributed in their respective directions. • Refer to "Channel Level" (p. 74) when adjusting the volume of each channel with the test sound. 1 Press the CH LEVEL key to select adjustable channel from the followings. FL: Front left FR: Front right C: Center SL: Surround left FL HL FR C SW HR SR: Surround right HL: Height left SL SR HR: Height right SW: Subwoofer Example of volume balance • If you have problems hearing words: Select C (center) to increase the level. When the sound is not like surround sound: Select SL (surround left), SR (surround right), HL (height left) or HR (height right) to increase the level. • The volume of the subwoofer also can be adjusted by using the SUB (+/-) key. • Adjusting the channel level is not available in target playback mode. • SW (subwoofer) volume can only be adjusted in stereo playback mode (p. 40). • Volume for the following channels can be adjusted when "My Surround" is set to "On" (p. 73). Press the CH LEVEL key to select adjustable
channel from the followings.
FL: Front left
FR: Front right
C: Center
SL: Surround left
SR: Surround right
HL: Height left
HR: Height right
SW: Subwoofer
Adjusting the channel level is not available in target playback mode.
SW (subwoofer) volume can only be adjusted in stereo playback mode
(p. 40).
Volume for the following channels can be adjusted when “My Surround” is
set to “On” (p. 73).
