ZyXEL G-220 v2 User's Guide CHAPTER 5 Access Point Mode Configuration This chapter shows you how to configure your G-220 v2 in access point mode. 5.1 Access Point Mode Introduction To set your G-220 v2 as an Access Point (AP), select AP Mode in any utility screen (refer to Section 1.2.4 on page 23). In access point mode, your G-220 v2 functions as an access point. This allows you to set up your wireless networks without using a dedicated AP. Configuration
This chapter shows you how to configure your G-220 v2 in access point mode.
5.1
Access Point Mode Introduction
To set your G-220 v2 as an Access Point (AP), select
AP Mode
in any utility screen (refer to
Section 1.2.4 on page 23)
.
In access point mode, your G-220 v2 functions as an access point. This allows you to set up
your wireless networks without using a dedicated AP.
Note:
At the time of writing this function is not available on Windows Vista.
