Prestige 128IMH ISDN Modem/ Router/Hub Figure 1-1 Internet Access Application Internet Single User Account For a SOHO (small office/Home Office) environment, your Prestige offers a Single User Account (SUA) feature that allows multiple users on the LAN (Local Area Network) to access the Internet concurrently for the cost of a single user. Single User Account address mapping can also be used for other LAN to LAN connections. 1.4.2 Multi-Protocol/Multilink LAN-to-LAN Connection You can use the Prestige to connect two geographically dispersed networks over up to 128Kbps over a single ISDN BRI line. It incorporates PPP/MP (Point-to-Point Protocol/Multilink Protocol) to bundle two B channels in a BRI line. The Prestige supports TCP/IP and Novell IPX routing, as well as transparent bridging for other network layer protocols.
