Chapter 3 Internet and Wireless Setup Wizard Figure 13 Internet Access Wizard Setup: ISP Parameters The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 6 Internet Access Wizard Setup: ISP Parameters LABEL DESCRIPTION Mode Select Routing (default) from the drop-down list box if your ISP give you one IP address only and you want multiple computers to share an Internet account. Select Bridge when your ISP provides you more than one IP address and you want the connected computers to get individual IP address from ISP's DHCP server directly. If you select Bridge, you cannot use Firewall, QoS, DHCP server and NAT on the ZyXEL Device. Encapsulation Select the encapsulation type your ISP uses from the Encapsulation drop-down list box. This field is available only when you select Routing in the Mode field. Choices are Ethernet and PPPoE. Back Click Back to go back to the previous screen. Next Click Next to continue to the next wizard screen. The next wizard screen you see depends on what protocol you chose above. Exit Click Exit to close the wizard screen without saving your changes. 4 The next wizard screen varies depending on what mode and encapsulation type you use. All screens shown are with routing mode. Configure the fields and click Next to continue. See Section 3.3 on page 58 for wireless connection wizard setup " When you use the connection wizard to configure the Internet access using PPPoE, the ZyXEL Device is set to get an IP address from the ISP automatically.
