Safety Precautions I Working Around the Printer Do not put your hands or fingers in the printer while it is printing. The printer contains moving parts that could cause injury. Do not place metal objects (paper clips, staples, etc.) or containers of flammable solvents (alcohol, thinners, etc.) on top of the printer. Such objects could fall or spill into the printer and cause a fire or electric shock. If any foreign object (metal or liquid) enters the printer, unplug the power cord and call the Canon Customer Care Center.
