Printing on Special Media Types I Envelopes • To assure crisp, clear printing, do not use envelopes with textured or coated surfaces. To avoid paper feed problems, do not use double-flap envelopes or envelopes with exposed adhesive seals. • Prepare the envelopes. 1 Press down on the corners and the middle of the envelopes to expel air and eliminate warp and curl. 2 If the envelopes are still warped, hold the envelopes at diagonally opposed corners and bend lightly.
