Printer Documentation I Conventions This User's Manual uses the following symbols to indicate important information. Always observe the instructions indicated by these symbols. Caution Cautions alert you to ways to avoid injury to yourself, damage to the printer, or the loss of valuable data. Note Notes provide advice, tips, and suggestions that are intended to help you work more efﬁciently with the printer. This arrow and blue text indicate a link to where you can ﬁnd more information about the current subject. This manual uses the following symbols depending on the computer system you are using. Always observe the instructions indicated by these symbols. Windows Indicates information for Windows® 2000, Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT users only. Macintosh Indicates information for iMacTM and Power Macintosh® G3 and G4 users only. Throughout this guide the names Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 95, and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, are abbreviated, respectively, as Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT.
