D A P P E N D I X Chassis and Module Power and Heat Values This appendix provides the power and heat numbers for the Catalyst 6500 series chassis and modules. • Chassis and fan trays-Table D-1 • IP phones-Table D-2 • Supervisor Engine-Table D-3 • Modules-Table D-4 Unless otherwise noted, the information in the following tables is measured under fully-loaded conditions (transceivers installed). Typical numbers are approximately 30 percent below the numbers listed in these tables. Note Module power is the output from the power supply (internal to the system). The AC-input power is the input from the outlet to the power supply. The percentage difference between the two values is the efficiency of the power supply. listed in these tables.

Note

Module power is the output from the power supply (internal to the system). The AC-input power is the

input from the outlet to the power supply. The percentage difference between the two values is the

efficiency of the power supply.
