Organization Preface Organization This guide is organized into the following chapters: Chapter 1, "Product Overview," is a physical and functional overview of the switch. It describes the switch ports, the standards they support, and the switch LEDs. Examples of how the switch could be installed suggest possible deployment strategies. Chapter 2, "Installing and Starting Up the Switch," contains the procedures for installing a switch on a rack, wall, table, or shelf. It also describes how to set up the switch initial configuration. Chapter 3, "Troubleshooting," describes how to identify and resolve some of the problems that might arise when you are installing the switch.
