Unit is powered on but no video is being displayed to the screen and the power LED is blinking red. Possible Solution Run Performance Monitor. Click Start, Programs, Administrative Tools. The workstation has run out of memory to run the application. Check the application documentation to determine memory requirements. The RIMMs may not be installed correctly. Verify that the RIMMs have been installed correctly in the RIMM sockets then run the Computer Setup utility. The system has run out of memory for the application. Check memory requirements for the application or install additional memory. The memory configuration (RIMMs or SDRAM board) is not installed correctly preventing the unit from booting. See the "Memory Modules" section in Chapter 3 for memory installation and removal guidelines. SCSI Problems Problem System will not boot from a SCSI drive Table 4-10 SCSI Problems Cause The SCSI drive is not configured correctly. Solution Be sure that the drive cabling and jumpers are set correctly. To boot a SCSI drive, the drive ID number must be set to 0.
