Reconnect the network cable and external devices. 8. Plug in the workstation and turn on the power. NOTE: When the SW50 Clear CMOS switch is pressed, your passwords will become invalid because the passwords are stored in the configuration memory. This is a bootable diskette that allows you to test and inspect the hardware outside the operating system environmentally running the Computer Checkup (TEST) or View System Information (INSPECT) diagnostic programs. Another Compaq diagnostics tool is Diagnostics for Windows NT, which runs under Windows NT Workstation.
