Observe local occupational health and safety requirements and guidelines for manual material handling. Get help to lift and stabilize the product during installation or removal, especially when the product is not fastened to the rails. CAUTION: Plug the power cord into an outlet easily accessible and as close as possible to the equipment operator. When you need to disconnect power to the equipment, unplug the power cord from the outlet. CAUTION: Protect the server from power fluctuations and temporary interruptions with a regulating uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The device protects the hardware from damage from power surges and voltage spikes and keeps the system operating during a power failure. CAUTION: Operate the rack-mountable Compaq ProLiant 6400R server with the system unit top access panel on. Proper cooling does not occur if the system unit cover is removed. IMPORTANT: Because of the 100- to 120-VAC electrical rating of each power supply, some local electrical authorities may require either one 15-A circuit for each power supply or one 20-A circuit for each pair of power supplies.
