Align the new PPM with the PPM socket. b. Install and secure the processor power module by pushing it into the socket . c. Rotate the ejector levers inward until the board fully seats into the socket.

If you remove a processor, reinstall the processor terminator module
before powering up the server. Failure to have either a processor or processor
terminator module installed results in an interlock fault condition that prevents
the server from powering up.

processor core frequency switch to the appropriate setting. See

12.
Install the PPM:
a.
Align the new PPM with the PPM socket.
b.
Install and secure the processor power module by pushing it into the
socket

c.
Rotate the ejector levers inward
until the board fully seats into the
socket.
