Message Causes Corrective Actions Write fault Write fault on selected drive Faulty USB device, USB medium, optical drive assembly, hard drive, or hard drive subsystem. Replace the USB medium or device. Ensure that the USB, SAS backplane, or SATA cables are properly connected.
