Power consumption Power usage drops significantly while in PowerSave mode, which saves natural resources and saves money without affecting the high performance of this product. This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR® (Version 3.0), which is a voluntary program to encourage the development of energy-efficient office products. NOTE ENERGY STAR® is a U.S. registered mark. Toner consumption Draft mode uses significantly less toner, which might extend the life of the print cartridge. Paper use This product's optional, automatic, 2-sided printing feature (duplex printing) can reduce paper usage and the resulting demands on natural resources. See 2-sided (duplex) printing for more information. The HP Color LaserJet 3550, 3550n, 3700, and 3700n printers support the manual duplex feature (for two-sided printing, see Manual 2-sided printing). Plastics Plastic parts over 25 grams are marked according to international standards that enhance the ability to identify plastics for recycling purposes at the end of the product's life. HP LaserJet printing supplies In many countries/regions, this product's printing supplies (for example, print cartridges) can be returned to HP through the HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program. An easy-to-use and free take back program is available in more than 30 countries/regions.
