Supported printer drivers for Mac The HP LaserJet software installer provides PostScript® Printer Description (PPD) files, Printer Dialog Extensions (PDEs), and the HP Utility for use with Mac OS X computers. The HP printer PPD and PDE files, in combination with the built-in Apple PostScript printer drivers, provide full printing functionality and access to specific HP printer features. Remove software from Mac operating systems You must have administrator rights to remove the software. 1. Open System Preferences. 2. Select Print & Fax. 3. Highlight the product. 4. Click the minus (-) symbol. 5. Delete the print queue, if necessary. 6.
