Job Storage tab features NOTE: The Job Storage tab appears among the driver tabs only if the Job Storage feature in the Device Settings tab is set to Enabled. Use the job-storage feature to store print jobs in the HP LaserJet M9040 MFP and HP LaserJet M9050 MFP for printing at a later time. If the Job Storage feature is enabled in the Device Settings tab, the following options are available in the Job Storage Mode group box: ● Off: Your job will be printed but not stored on the product. ● Proof and Hold: When multiple copies are requested the first copy will be printed. The remaining copies will be held on the product until you release them via the product control panel. ● Personal Job: Your job will be stored on the product and nothing will be printed until you request the job from the product control panel. Once the job is printed, it will be automatically deleted from the product. NOTE: For added security, a four-digit personal identification number can be added to the print job. ● Quick Copy: After your job prints, you can use the product control panel to print more copies of your job. ● Stored Job: Your job will be stored in the product as if it is an electronic file cabinet. Nothing will be printed until your job is requested from the product control panel. Use this storage for forms and other common or shared documents. NOTE: For added security, a four-digit personal identification number can be added to the print job. NOTE: If the Printer Hard Drive feature in the Device Settings tab is set to Not Installed, the Quick Copy and the Stored Job options are not available in the Job Storage Mode group box. 160 Chapter 4 HP PCL 5, PCL 6, and PS emulation drivers for Windows ENWW
