Java Runtime Environment for HP-UX Java Runtime Environment for HP-UX Java runtime environment for HP-UX can be downloaded from: http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/java2/sdkrte14/downloads/index.html Fill out the required information and press the finish button at the bottom of the page. You will then be directed to a page with the following information. hp-ux runtime environment, for the Java™ 2 platform version 1.4.0.02 The product will be installed under /opt/java1.4/jre. If you have a previous installation of 1.4, please uninstall it using swremove and move any personal files from your existing /opt/java1.4/jre directory before you begin the new installation. If you do not uninstall a previous installation, you may see messages such as "Error: You have specified more than one fileset selection." You need approximately 60 MB of disk space on your system to install the software. Download the software into a location with adequate space. We'll use the directory /tmp in our example. Note: Download works on both Workstations and Servers. Some browsers don't recognize the depot format and download the file as a text file. Java runtime environment for HP-UX can be downloaded from:
