Ex_Ports are activated on a per-port basis with the optional HP B-series 48-80 Port SAN Switch Integrated Routing LTU. This license provides native Fibre Channel Routing (FCR) on a per-port basis, rather than limiting routing ports to those on a dedicated routing blade or switch. Just like traditional FCR, Integrated Routing uses EX_Ports to import and export devices between fabrics, enabling selective device sharing while maintaining remote fabric isolation.
