Slide the CD ROM drive out about halfway and disconnect the audio cable, power cable, and ATAPI interface ribbon cable from the back of the CD ROM drive. Once the cables are disconnected, pull the CD ROM drive out of the chassis and set it aside. CAUTION CD ROM drives are fragile and can easily be damaged if dropped. Handle with care. 3. Slide the CD ROM drive out about halfway and disconnect the audio cable, power cable,
and ATAPI interface ribbon cable from the back of the CD ROM drive. Once the cables

Replacing the CD ROM Drive
