Replacing the Real Time Clock (RTC) Module Parts Removal and Replacement Real Time Clock (RTC) Module CAUTION Explosion may result if the RTC Module is incorrectly installed. Polarity dots must be aligned. 1. Remove the RTC Module from its packaging. 2. Locate the polarity dot on the RTC Module and align it with the polarity dot on the I/O board connector. 3. Real Time Clock (RTC) Module
Replacing the Real Time Clock (RTC) Module
CAUTION
Explosion may result if the RTC Module is incorrectly installed. Polarity dots
must be aligned.
1.
Remove the RTC Module from its packaging.
2.
Locate the polarity dot on the RTC Module and align it with the polarity dot on the I/O
board connector.
3. Press the RTC Module firmly into the I/O board, taking care not to bend any of the pins.
