This disk is provided with your server. Power-control button: Press this button to manually shut down and turn off the server. Reset button: Press this button to reset the server and run the power-on self-test (POST). You might need to use a pen or the end of a straightened paper clip to press the button. Operator information panel: The lights on this panel give status information for your server. See "Operator information panel" on page 11. Cover release latch: Slide this lever to release the cover. Serial number: This number uniquely identifies your server. Hard disk drive status light: Each of the hot-swap drives has a hard disk drive status light. When this amber light is on continuously, the drive has failed. If a ServeRAID adapter is installed and this amber light flashes slowly (one flash per second), the drive is being rebuilt. When the light flashes rapidly (three flashes per second), the controller is identifying the drive. Hard disk drive activity light: Each of the hot-swap drives has a hard disk drive light.
