Note: The values in the following window are only examples; your settings will be different. 6. Verify the following serial port values: Baud Rate The default is 57600. Note: The data bits value is preset to 8 and cannot be changed. The PPP enables TCP/IP communication over the serial port, which enables Web-based management and TELNET sessions over a modem. Setting up point-to-point protocol
The Remote Supervisor Adapter serial port supports point-to-point protocol (PPP).
