7 SCANS ■ Memory scan operation q P ush [EXIT/SET] several times to close a multi- function screen, if necessary. w Select memory mode. e Push [SCAN] (F-5) to select the scan screen. r Set [RF/SQL] open or closed. • See p. 105 for squelch condition. • If the [RF/SQL] control function is set as "AUTO," the squelch is always open in SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK modes.
